President - Martin Beese

My commitment to Alveston FC began 38 years ago in 1974 with the U14's team and progressing through the ranks in to mens football with the First team. In the early nineties I became First team player Manager and took the club into the Midland Combination in 1995, later becoming the Chairman of the club. I helped set up the Junior teams section in 2004 which proved to be a very successful move for the depth of the club and enabled us to achieve Charter Standard status. As a club we are stronger now, with a new Board made up essentially of Alveston FC Old Boys who are totally committed to move the club forward and I was delighted to accept the position as club President. I look forward to the future of this great club with real optimism.

Alveston Football Club Ltd Board Members

Chairman/Director - Tony Mercer

I first played for Alveston FC 36 years ago in the Under 16's team progressing on to the first team where I captained the side to some Stratford Alliance honours. After stopping playing, I have been a supporter, Match Day manager & Secretary for the first team, Reserve Team manager and a sponsor of the club and I now find myself acting as the Commercial Director. I am determined, along with the other Directors, to help this Club achieve it's ambitions and to continue to provide youngsters in our community with the opportunity to play and enjoy football as I did. Come on Alveston !!

Financial Director - Neil Robertson

I was recently asked by the club chairman Hugh MacKinnon (who I have known professionally for several years) to join Alveston Football club as Finance Director which I gladly accepted. My financial background is that I am a certified Management Accountant and currently work in a local accountancy practise. The main reason I accepted the role was the vision the board have for the future of the football club and their ambitious plans and I want to do all I can to help them achieve it using my financial experience, also I have a young Son whom I'm sure will enjoy playing football in years to come & I can support him-from the sidelines!

Governance/Welfare Director - Alan Fisk

I have been involved with Alveston since 2005 when I started with managing the U9’s who are now currently playing at U15’s. During this time I took over as Chairman of Alveston Juniors for 3 seasons and now have taken a place on the Board of Directors looking after Governance and Welfare and I am the club's Child Welfare Officer,(CWO). There has been major changes within Alveston F.C. recently with the setting up of the Board of Directors who are all committed to the improvement of Alveston FC for the benefit of all our teams age groups and our community.
