The last time Alveston played the Jaguars, we had lost by two goals...not this time round.
This had got to be one of the best matches so far, with both teams creating chances and excellent clearances from Oliver denying the Jaguars every time. Shots at goal from both teams were leaving the parents nail biting at the touch line, but none could find the net. Some fantastic saves from Lochlan and Dan had an awesome game in midfield chasing every ball and digging in proving that Alveston were putting up a good battle.
At full time 0 - 0 but Alveston celebrating and treating this as a win, apparently this was the first time that the Jaguars have not scored all season...but that could be touchline whispers :-)
Ben - great captain!!
The friendly 15 minutes each way was a completely different game. Alveston were on the attack all the time tiring out the Jaguars. With great goals from Will Durnia, William Dudley, Finlay, Lochlan and the Jaguars who managed to claw back and level with Alveston. Finally a free kick which was taken by Charlie-s left foot which was placed above the keepers head and eventualy working its way into the net bringing Alveston to a friendly win 5 - 4
And our star goal keeper - Freddie who denied several shots at goal who was absolutely fantastic
Man of the match: Oliver
Coaches award: Morgan
Looking forward to next weeks last match of the season!!
