| Shipston Excelsior | 4 |
| Alveston | 3 |
Alveston got exactly what they deserved after a lacl lustre performance against 4th placed Shipston Excelsior.
Alve were never allowed to get in their stride and on a bobbly pitch, they struggled for any rythmn or quality and despite taking the lead when Kevin Wards left wing cross was turned in by a Shipston defender, the home side looked the more likely side to score.
Alve had a mad 20 minute period where they conceded 4 goals without reply and had Rowberry sent off for a 2nd yellow card and with top scorer Matt Layton limping out of the game all looked dead and buried.
A spirited last 15 minutes saw Alve score 2 goals through Fathers and Rouse but Shipston defended well to ensure they took all the points and dent Alves title hopes.
